1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, booking a newspaper subscription, or participating in a promotion such as Spin & Win, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy.

2. About Our Services

Amrit Vichar publishes a Hindi-language newspaper serving Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Through this website you can book a home-delivered newspaper subscription, and take part in reader promotions we run from time to time. Home delivery is currently offered in Lucknow, with other cities being added over time — readers outside our current delivery area can still subscribe to our e-paper at epaper.amritvichar.com.

3. Subscription Booking & Pricing

The subscription price shown to you at the time of booking is the price payable.
Home delivery begins after your booking and any required payment is confirmed.
Please provide an accurate name, mobile number, and delivery address — we are not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect details.

4. Spin & Win Promotion

Spin & Win is a free promotional game — no purchase, payment, or fee of any kind is required to play.

No cash prizes are offered at any time. Each spin results in either a fixed discount toward a one-month newspaper subscription, a small non-cash gift, or no prize ("better luck next time") — there is no cash alternative to any prize.
A discount prize must be claimed by submitting your delivery details. Any balance amount remaining after the discount is applied is payable securely via Razorpay to activate home delivery.
Each campaign may limit the number of entries per reader/mobile number, as shown on the campaign page.
Spin & Win offers are currently available to readers in Lucknow only. Readers outside this area may still be contacted with an invitation to subscribe to our e-paper.
Amrit Vichar reserves the right to modify, pause, or end any promotion at its discretion, and to disqualify entries it reasonably believes are fraudulent or duplicated.
By playing, you consent to us contacting you about your prize, subscription, and occasional offers, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Payments

All online payments on this website are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank account details on our servers. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's own terms governing the payment service.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

If we are unable to deliver your newspaper at your desired address, we will issue a complete refund of the amount you paid, without interest. As a token of thanks for your patience, we will also give you a free e-paper subscription for 6 months.

To request this, contact us within a reasonable time of the delivery issue arising, with your booking or claim code. Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take a few business days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Delivery

We aim to deliver your newspaper reliably to the address you provide, but delivery timelines may occasionally vary due to circumstances outside our control (weather, local disruptions, etc.).

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use this website and any promotion honestly and not to attempt to abuse, automate, or defraud our booking or promotional systems.

9. Limitation of Liability

We provide our website and promotions in good faith and take reasonable care in operating them, but we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from their use, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Uttar Pradesh.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
